Mumbai, July 16, 2021: Sony Pictures Films India, known for its acclaimed successful films such as Piku, Padman, Soorma, 102 Not Out, and Shakuntala Devi, has now joined hands with Ram and Amita Madhvani's Ram Madhvani Films (RMF) for a big-screen underwater thriller film, titled "Dive". ## Written by Renuka Kunzru, "Dive" is the first-of-its-kind survival thriller film in India. The movie will mark the directorial debut of a well know ad filmmaker with Equinox Films (owned by Ram and Amita), Nitin Parmar. Neerja Narayanan will be serving as an independent executive producer. Ram Madhvani who directed the movie 'Neerja' starring Sonam Kapoor has launched his production house Ram Madhvani Films. ## Ram Madhvani has an advertising background. Before directing his first movie 'Let's Talk' which was in the English language, Madhvani had worked as an associate director in the movie 'Mission Kashmir' in 2000.
