Box Office: Jurassic World Dominion Sets Eyes On $1B Globally

Los Angeles, August 14 - Universal Pictures' Jurassic World Dominion has surpassed $600 million at the international box office, after scoring $4.8 million in its 10th weekend. The total overseas collection of the film now stands at $601.4 million from 88 markets, according to Hollywood trade expert Gitesh Pandya.## The Chris Pratt-starrer science fiction actioner has grossed $373.1 million at the domestic (North America) box office and has almost finished its run there. The worldwide cume total of the film has reached $975 million and now, the $1 billion global mark is looking possible.## Interestingly, "Jurassic World Dominion" is the lowest-rated film in the 6-film franchise. The Rotten Tomatoes critic' score is just 30% for the movie, and still, the film has managed to keep up the box office legacy of this blockbuster franchise. If the movie reaches the $1 billion mark, it will become the 4th Jurassic movie to do so. ## China is leading the international box office chart of the film with $157.6 million in its final run, followed by Mexico at number 2 with $42.9 million, the United Kingdom at 3 with $41.5 million, France and Australia at number 4 and 5 with $28.5 million and $24.8 million, respectively.
