In a massive update for cinema enthusiasts and trade analysts alike, the film has been officially confirmed for an IMAX release. This news ensures that the period gangster saga will be a visual powerhouse, designed to be witnessed on the largest screens possible. The confirmation came through IMAX's official investor presentation release slate, which listed Toxic as a key part of its upcoming global rollout, signaling a massive premium-format push across India and international markets. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026. The makers have strategically locked in this date to capitalize on a massive four-day holiday weekend, coinciding with major festivals like Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and Eid-al-Fitr.
