Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Karna Shifts To Ahaan Panday From Suriya?

Mumbai, March 13 - Ahaan Pandey is not rushing in his career as the young actor is taking time to shape his future film lineup after the blockbuster debut with Saiyaara last year. Mohit Suri's directorial debut made him an overnight star, leading to several offers from filmmakers. Ahaan is doing Ali Abbas Zafar's yet untitled romantic action film. According to reports, the actor rejected nearly a dozen films before locking in Zafar's film. According to Bollywood Hungama, the heartthrob has been offered two more films, including one by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. It is said that Anand L Rai and Mehra have approached the actor for two different films, and he seems to have liked both the projects. Rakeysh Mehra has reportedly offered his ambitious Mahabharta epic, Karna, which he originally planned with Tamil star Suriya. Ahaan has also liked an idea pitched by Anand L Rai, whose last directorial was Tere Ishk Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon. Director Boyapati Srinu Confirms His Next Two Films With Superstar Allu Arjun and Suriya

Hyderabad, October 7 - Telugu mass filmmaker, Boyapati Srinu scored a massive hit with Nandamuri Balakrishna in the form of "Akhanda" in 2021. However, the director couldn't repeat the same success with his next movie "Skanda" with Ram Pothineni. The movie is currently playing in theatres and heading towards being an average affair at the box office.## Despite being unable to repeat "Akhanda's" success with "Skanda", Boyapati remains in hot demand as he has confirmed his next three films. During a recent media interaction, the ultra mass director confirmed that he would be teaming up with Telugu superstar Allu Arjun and Tamil star Suriya for his next two films.## It is not yet clear which film he will take first. Allu Arjun is currently shooting for "Pushpa 2", and he will next be reuniting with Trivikram Srinivas and then also has an announced film with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Suriya, on the other hand, is shooting for "Kanguva", and will next be reuniting with Sudha Kongara. Vetrimaaran Drops A Big Update On Suriya's 'Vaadivaasal'

Chennai, June 27 - Tamil director Vetrimaaran's highly-awaited film "Vaadivaasal" with superstar Suriya has been in the news ever since it was announced a long time back. However, even after so much time passed since the announcement, the movie hasn't rolled out yet. ## The film was announced a few years back and a test shoot with Suriya also happened several months back. It was supposed to go on floors in 2022 but due to Vetrimaaran's "Viduthalai", the shoot got delayed. Now, the filmmaker has provided a much-awaited update on the same and confirmed that it will go on floors soon. ## During a recent interview, Vetrimaaran stated that the pre-production work for "Vaadivaasal" is underway in London. The entire moments of the bulls that have to perform with Suriya have been scanned and transferred to high-end computers. ## The director said that he will start shooting for "Vaadivaasal" soon after completing the remaining shoot of "Viduthalai - Part 2" starring Vijay Sethupathi and Soori. The movie went to many actors but things didn't work out and the movie was put on hold. ## Now, the latest reports suggest that the much-awaited project is back on track with a new actor. According to Pinkvilla, director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is in advanced talks with Tamil superstar Suriya to play this larger-than-life role. ## It is said that Suriya and Mehra already had multiple meetings and things are moving in the right direction quickly. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's 'Karna' To Be Made In Two-Parts

Mumbai, September 14 - Last year, it was reported that filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra has been working on a mythological epic based on Mahabharat's key character Karna. The director reportedly had approached Shahid Kapoor to play this iconic role, however, things seem to have changed since then. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, Shahid Kapoor has backed out from this magnum opus, and now, the makers are looking for new actors to play Karna. It is also revealed that the movie will be split into two parts and Mehra is writing this film along with veteran author Anand Neelakantan accordingly. ## "The subject and characters are so vast and complicated that he (Rakeysh Mehra) believes one film can not justify Karna's story. Baahubali, KGF, and Pushpa's success have further boosted the maker's confidence to experiment with a multi-part format", read the report. ## Meanwhile, this mega project will now reportedly be produced by Farhan Akhtar under his banner Excel Entertainment. It was earlier supposed to be produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP Movies. Shahid Kapoor To Lead T Series & Guilty By Association's 'Bull'

Mumbai, October 21 - It was recently reported that actor Shahid Kapoor would be teaming up with producer Bhushan Kumar again after their blockbuster outing "Kabir Singh". The latest development is that the movie has been titled "Bull", which is set in the 1980s and inspired by events from the life of Brigadier Bulsara.## "Bull" will jointly be produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Amar Butala and Garima Mehta's Guilty By Association. The makers have now reconfirmed her appearance as the female lead in the movie.
